Right now, those Blue Heron hatchlings are living their best life, chilling in the nest and having sibling showdowns.
In a few weeks, they’ll be gearing up to test their wings and take that first flight.
If you stick around to witness the whole process – from nest-building antics to fish-catching skills and the cuteness of the hatchlings – it’s quite the spectacle.

I spot them all over Northeast Ohio, not just at the Blue Heron View Point in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, so their nests must be nearby, most likely near lakes, streams and river banks.
